EPFM: [DM_SYSOBJECT_E_VERSION_MISMATCH]error: "save of object failed because of version mismatch: old version was 2" .

I solved this problem by adding these DFC lines:

Captiva: Migration of Captiva from verison 6.5 to 7.1

   a) Backup the following folders content:

    o   C:\Program Files (x86)\InputAccel

    o   C:\IAS

    o   C:\windows\win.ini

    o   C:\Program Data\EMC\InputAccel\settings.ini

   o    Registry Parameter (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\

InputAccel\Parameters)

   o   C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files

2.       Shut down InputAccel / Captiva Capture immediately before the upgrade (stop all Input Accel services)

3.       Stop all client modules and then stop all instances of the InputAccel Server.

b) Install InputAccel Database 7.1

1.     Don’t stop the DB before upgrade.

2.     Make a DB backup: http://www.serverintellect.com/support/sqlserver/database-backup-ssmse/

c) Install Imput Accel 7.1
d) Install Client Components 7.1
e) Install Web Components 7.1
